Player ratings: Swansea 3-1 LIVERPOOL

The 23 year old was poor and later withdrawn

Coutinho was withdrawn at half-time with Thursday in mind but was very poor

Attack

Philippe Coutinho – Coutinho’s worrying dip in form continues, as he looked bored and very lazy for 45 minutes. Also taken off at the break, no doubt with Thursday in mind but he has to look more interested against Villarreal as the team can’t afford passengers like he was in the first half this morning. Rating – 5

Sheyi Ojo – Of the three players that started in support of Sturridge today, Ojo was the most impressive but that is not really a great compliment. He tried his best, but was always running against the tide and struggled to make an impact on the ball. Rating – 6

Jordan Ibe – We thought after Thursday’s substitute appearance that we may have seen the last of Ibe for 2015-16 but he started today. You wouldn’t be blamed for asking where he was for 90 minutes, as he was incredibly poor. The least effective forward player on the field today. Poor crossing, lazy passing and an attitude to match. Klopp will not be happy with Ibe’s dip of late. Rating – 4
