Liverpool have been linked with a move for Belgian starlet Samuel Bastien in recent days but there could be a complication in securing the 19 year old’s signature, according to Belgian publication Het Laatste Nieuws.
Anderlecht would like to buy midfielder Filip Djuricic from Benfica after the 24 year old spent the season on loan at the Belgian club but they can’t afford the the asking price the Portuguese Champions have demanded. The Lisbon club bought the player from Heerenveen 3 years ago for €6million and would like to recoup the money they paid.
The Belgian side however are only prepared to pay €4million for the player and are willing to add Bastien as part of the deal to make up the cost. The youngster has been on loan at Serie B side Avellino this season and has been linked with Liverpool for a number of months although there has yet to be any official bid for the player.
