Juventus have joined Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool in pursuing Napoli Lorenzo Insigne, according to Italian website Calciomercato.com.
At the end of last month, Italian newspaper Tuttosport reported that the Reds had joined Barca and PSG in the running for the 25 year old’s signature but it looks as if Italian champions Juve and Spanish side Atletico will now make it a five horse race for the winger.
Napoli won’t allow the player to leave without a fight though as Calciomercato believe that the Serie A side’s chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has made an appointment to meet with the Italian international’s agent to see if he can secure the player’s future at the San Paolo.
Insigne can play on either flank, or in attacking midfield role, but for Napoli his main position has been on the left wing, scoring 13 goals and making 11 assists in 42 matches in all competitions last season. He was named in Antonio Conte’s final 23 man squad for the European Championships.
