Liverpool are interested in signing Leeds left back Charlie Taylor, according to TeamTalk.com. Fellow Premier League club Stoke are also looking at the 22 year old, the website reports.

Teamtalk also believe the both clubs have already held talks with Leeds for the full back but local newspaper the Yorkshire Post have confirmed that Leeds have not received any bids for the player yet.

Taylor made his senior debut for Leeds in 2011 against Bradford City in the League Cup. He has subsequently had a loan spell with the Bantams, in addition to York City, Scottish side Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Fleetwood Town, where he spent a season on loan in 2013 to 2014.

From the start of the 2014/15 season, Taylor began to get more first team opportunities at Elland Road, and became the established first choice left back under Steve Evans last season. He made 43 appearances last campaign for Leeds, scoring one goal and providing seven assists.
