Liverpool have the advantage in their chase for Lille attacking midfielder Sofiane Boufal, according Buzzsport. The Moroccan international has been linked with Everton and Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks but the French website believe the Reds good relations with Lille after the transfer of Divock Origi to Anfield could help in any negotiations for the 22 year old.

The Belgian star was bought by the Reds at the start of the 2014/15 season and was loaned back to the French club for a season before arriving to play in the Premier League for the beginning of last campaign.

Lille manager Frederic Antonetti stated in April that it would be “difficult” to keep the player and there have been persistent links with Liverpool ever since in the French media. Buzzsport believe that Boufal will be available for €20million or £15.5million. Boufal was bought from Angers for €3.5million just a year and a half ago.
