Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho has said he is unaware of any transfer offers being made for him. Rumours have circulated that both Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are interested in signing the Brazilian.

Speaking after Brazil’s 7-1 victory over Haiti in the Copa America, the 23 year old said he would leave any offers for his representatives to deal with while he focuses on playing for his country in the tournament. He is quoted by the Independent as saying:

“As far as I know, there’s no offer. I’m here with the national team, this subject is for my representatives. More important for me is to be here, focused on the national team and having a good tournament. That’s where my head is.”

The attacking midfielder had just scored a hat-trick in the win over Haiti. He now has scored 4 times in 16 appearances for his country. Brazil are currently second in their group on 4 points, behind Peru, after drawing 0-0 against Ecuador in their first match of the tournament. Coutinho will be hoping to establish himself as a first team regular after his stand out performance against Haiti. He has not been selected consistently by the national side over the last few years despite his good form for Liverpool during this time.
