AC Milan have made a €25million (£21m) bid, including add ons, for the Croatian winger Marko Pjaca, according to Italian website Sport Mediaset. The 21 year old has been interesting Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool in recent weeks but it looks as if Milan have stolen a march on their rivals. AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani went to Zagreb for formal talks with Dinamo about Pjaca, despite Milan currently undergoing a sale to a Chinese consortium, but it seems he has been given the go ahead to bid for the player.

Dinamo Zagreb wanted clubs to out bid each other for Pjaca’s signature after his excellent performances against Spain and Portugal for Croatia at the European Championships but Milan are believed to have had their bid accepted by the Croatian side and are hopeful they can seal the midfielder’s signature.

Sport Mediaset report that Juventus and Borussia Dortmund had made lower bids for Pjaca and may be out of the running for the player. Whether the Reds have made any approach is not certain. Jurgen Klopp last season talked about the lack of wingers in the squad and with Jordan Ibe possibly leaving the Reds for £15million to Bournemouth, he may have considered the Croatian as a viable alternative.
