Guangzhou Evergrande striker Jackson Martinez would like to return from China to play in Europe and Liverpool are one of three clubs interested in the Colombian, according to fichajes.net.

The Spanish website states that Porto, AC Milan and the Reds are all looking at buying the 29 year old who was sold to China by Atletico Madrid only back in February for €42million.

Liverpool currently have too many strikers on their books but fichajes.net believes that after the sales of both Christian Benteke and Mario Balotelli, there will be room in their squad for Martinez.

Porto will however be the favourites for the striker’s signature as the player had a successful three year spell there with 94 goals in 143 appearances. The Portuguese side are looking to rebuild their squad after finishing third in the league behind Benfica and Sporting Lisbon last season and would be prepared to pay €30million for the player to return. Fichajes.net believe however that with new owners, Milan could be prepared to pay as much as €40million for the Colombian.
