Liverpool will agree to loan Christian Benteke to Besiktas for the season for a fee of €3.5million, according to both Lig TV and Fanatik, but only if the Reds can’t secure a permanent move for the Belgian before the end of the transfer window.

Crystal Palace have reportedly had a £30m bid rejected by Liverpool for the player but the main reason for the bid being turned down appears to be how the deal was structured with £23m up front ,and £7m in addon clauses which weren’t acceptable to the Reds.

West Bromwich Albion are also believed to be interested but the striker is said to be keener on a move to London rather than a return to the Midlands.

The Reds are determined to recover most of the £32.5million they paid Aston Villa for the forward a year ago but with just two week to go before the transfer window shuts, time is running out for a permanent transfer to go ahead.
