Juventus have signed ten year old Rashed Al Hajjawi who was spotted because of the skills he showed in Youtube videos, according to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.

O Jogo also reported that Al Hajjawi’s Facebook shows the youngster training at the Liverpool academy as well as with Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane before he signed for Juve.

It is not unheard of for players to be signed by big foreign European clubs at such a young age and although not to compare the two ability wise, it has to be noted that a certain Lionel Messi was signed up at Barcelona at the age of just thirteen.

No doubt footballing talent can be spotted from a very early age, but there’s a long way from that to being a fully fledged professional player. It will be interesting to see though whether Hajjawi (who is of Palestinian heritage but was born and brought up in Norway) can develop his talents to the senior level.
