Juventus will step up their chase for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud, according to calciomercato.com. The Italian website report Juve are preparing a €15m bid for the young German.

Dahoud reportedly has a contract that expires in 2018 with a clause that allows clubs to buy the player for only €10m within the final year of the player’s contract. The Serie A champions are believed to want to steal a march on their competition by offering more for the player in the January transfer window.

Calciomercato say that the Italian club are tracking Zenit St Petersburg’s Axel Witsel and Boca Juniors starlet Rodrigo Bentancur, with the latter possibly joining the Old Lady on a loan deal, but Juve’s primary target is Dahoud.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is still interested in the 20 year old according to the Liverpool Echo, while Calciomercato say that Manchester City could also make a move for the midfielder.
