Liverpool could be set to make another attempt to sign Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ante Coric, according to calciomercato.com. The Croatian revealed back in August to goal.com that he was on the verge of signing for an unnamed club and was due for a medical to complete the transfer.
The move however never materialised but the Reds have been linked persistently with the 19 year old in recent months as the midfielder had a falling out with Dinamo caretaker manager Zeljko Sopic back in September which led to him being left out of the squad to face Juventus in the Champions League.
The appointment of Ivaylo Petev at the end of last month however saw Coric restored to the starting lineup and the 19 year old has been a regular starter under the new boss.
Coric has also been linked in the past with Manchester City, and calciomercato report that Pep Guardiola’s side could also return with a bid for the Croatian international.
