As quoted by the club’s official website, Roberto Firmino has confirmed he wants a long stay with the Reds and we’re all too happy to hear that.
The Brazilian has really won a place in our affections this season thanks to his sublime work rate and great talent in front of goal.
He’s combined brilliantly with Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho this season, too, and so here’s hoping we get to see more of the trio for many years to come.
Under Jurgen Klopp he’s become one of our most crucial stars with the way he presses and harasses from the front, whilst his genuine love of our club has only gone down well, too.
He’s adopted what it’s like to be a Red perfectly and we’re hoping 2017 sees him crowned as a league champion along with the rest of the squad.
He’s evidently loving it here and said:
“Being really honest, I love it here and plan to stay for many years in the future as the Premier League is really competitive and tests you all the time.”
