Speaking to Le Progres ( via The Daily Star) Alexandre Lacazette has refused to rule out a move away from current club Lyon in the summer.

That could come as music to Jurgen Klopp’s ears, too, with the Reds linked with the Frenchman by Spanish outlet fichajes last month over a potential move.

The striker has been a subject of interest from Arsenal, too, and so should we decide to try and prise him away from the Ligue 1 side we may face a battle with the Gunners for his services.

The French international is one of the most lethal strikers in world football at the moment and has scored a huge amount of goals during his time with the former French champions.

He’s scored a scarcely believable eleven goals in eleven games in Ligue 1 this season and at the age of 25, he’s surely only going to get better.

And speaking about life after the end of this season Lacazette would not rule out moving on. He said:

“I prefer to concentrate on the team, play, score and try to beat the record of the club’s legends. I know I’m behind Serge Chiesa [134 goals].

“After that, next summer, we’ll see. Lots of big names have been circulating and it’s nice. We must think.

“This summer, there were some very interesting offers, but the president [Jean-Michel Aulas], for the good of the club, said no. And I understood.

“For me, staying here next year would not be a failure.

“After that, I’m open to anything that might happen outside. I will be at an age when we must make decisions.”

How good would Lacazette be, Reds? Let us know below!
