According to The Daily Mail, Liverpool have agreed to let Lucas Leiva go out on loan to Inter Milan in January with the Brazilian struggling for game time this season.

The midfielder is one of the most popular players in the squad and has earned himself the status of fan-favourite but it appears that isn’t going to be enough for him to stay with the Reds.

Lucas has largely played as a makeshift defender when called upon this season but has not be brought in too often by Jurgen Klopp at all in this campaign.

His last start came against Bournemouth in the Premier League which, we all know, we lost 4-3 on the south coast.

And that could be the last time we see him start for the club with a move to the San Siro on the cards and potentially a permanent deal away from Anfield thereafter.

Time for Lucas to go, Reds? Let us know below!
