The Reds are looking into signing Julian Draxler according to The Times in a move that would surely boost our attacking options even further.
The German World Cup winner has been touted as one of the next big things for some time now but at 23-years-old he’s yet to make that really big move to allow him to do so.
He’s been at Schalke and Wolfsburg so far but neither of them have allowed him to properly contest for trophies and so it appears he could be set for a move.
With Sadio Mane leaving us in January for the Africa Cup of Nations we are going to be short of options going forward and, certainly, Draxler is the kind of player that would help negate that.
We look set to face competition for PSG if we do go for him, though, and so it may be down to Jurgen Klopp and our obvious pulling factor to clinch the deal over the oil-rich Ligue 1 champions.
