Whilst we haven’t had the best time of it so far in recent weeks there can be no doubt that we do still have a chance of winning the league this season if we buck our ideas up quickly.

The loss at Bournemouth and the draw at home to West Ham were, of course, disappointing but every team challenging for the title will go through a blip – we just need to make sure ours is shorter than theirs.

Indeed, there’s a stat doing the rounds as published by The Express that highlights exactly where we need to improve if we’re going to take the league crown and that’s holding on to winning positions.

We’ve let seven points go this season which is more than all of our title rivals have bar Arsenal who have let eight get away from them.

If we could just cut that out and see victories out we’d surely be quids in for the league with our traditional early attacking blitz so let’s hope the Reds begin to tighten up once we get in front.

How should the Reds go about doing this? Let us know below!
