According to yesterday’s print version of the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via The Liverpool Echo,) Chelsea are now in the driving seat for midfielder Franck Kessie.
The Atalanta player has earned himself a big reputation this season for the amount of goals he’s scored from the centre of the park whilst his club side have uprooted trees in Serie A.
Whilst many had their prospects as mid-table at best at the start of the season they have proven everyone wrong to sit in and amongst the European places in the standings right now.
Naturally, though, that’s created interest in their best players of which Kessie is certainly one.
We are interested in the player, too, but it seems the current league leaders have made the most prominent move yet in meeting the his agent so now must be the time to act if we want to sign him.
