It’s not long until January, though our 4-3 win over Arsenal on the opening day seems like yesterday, and that means that the transfer rumour mill is really starting to get going.
The Reds, in being right in the thick of a Premier League title chase, are expected to do business when the window opens in a bid to get the edge over Chelsea, the Gunners, Manchester City and Spurs ahead of the second half of the campaign.
And the latest name to be linked is Virgil Van Dijk from Southampton in what would be the latest dealing we’ve had with the south coast club.
The Dutchman has been hugely impressive this season for the Saints including against the Redmen recently and so it appears we may be about to snap him up in the coming window.
