According to the print version of German outlet Bild (via TalkSport,) Jurgen Klopp has prioritised a loan move for Gabriel Barbosa and a transfer for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in this window.
Our German boss (again via TalkSport) had ruled out a move for ‘The Ox’ last month but the story appears to be resurfacing as well as that surrounding Brazilian forward Barbosa.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been in and out of the Arsenal side so far this season with Alex Iwobi often preferred in front of him with him looking as though he won’t get an England call up if that continues.
‘Gabigol’ meanwhile, joined Inter Milan in the summer but has not exactly had the start to life in Europe he would have wanted and could now join the Reds on loan.
The pair would mark Jurgen Klopp’s first significant foray into the transfer market this month and with our squad looking small we’re hoping it won’t be his last.
