The clock is gradually counting down on this transfer window and the Reds are still yet to sign anyone.
We’ve certainly been linked with plenty of players over the last few weeks and indeed months, though, so if any of those rumours have been true – something’s failed us along the line.
It could be, more than likely, that teams simply do not want to sell up at this point in the season and that makes perfect sense, even if it is a little annoying.
Indeed, the Reds have suffered as we thought they might with their small squad and so now we can only hope things either pick up again or we manage to get some late deals in.
We’ve been doing some scouting in preparation for the latter, then, and think signing these three from Serie A would certainly make us look back on this window more fondly…
