It’s that time in the season once again as the January transfer window is flung open for business and we’re hoping the Reds certainly get involved this time around.
With the Redmen still in contention for all three domestic competitions this season we should be seriously consider getting in extra options to help bolster the squad ahead of what could be a great 2017.
After the end of this season, too, we’re hopefully going to be in the Champions League for next year and so, naturally, we’re going to need more bodies in the squad.
More immediately, though, a contingency plan is needed for this month with Sadio Mane going to the Africa Cup of Nations this month and so we’re going to need another powerful winger to come in.
It looks like Jurgen Klopp has already had that thought process, though, as according to The Mirror we’re eyeing up a move for Quincy Promes.
A fast and strong wide-man, Promes could be the perfect Mane replacement and so, with that in mind, here’s how our front three could look with him in the side…
