As quoted by The Sunday Supplement programme on Sky Sports, prominent journalist Sam Wallace has said that FSG plan on keeping Jurgen Klopp long term – despite our poor form recently.

The Reds have had a shocker of a 2017 so far with our only win coming away at Plymouth in a 3rd round FA Cup replay in what’s been an awful few weeks.

Some have started to question Jurgen Klopp, too, albeit they are in the minority and Wallace believes that our German boss will be going nowhere for now.

He said of FSG’s plans:

“I get the impression the changes this week, with Ian Ayre leaving early, I know Michael Edwards is the new technical director, but Klopp is right at the centre of all that. The club are really planning for him to be there a long time.”

Klopp signed a new contract in the summer with the club and we are sure that he is the man to return us to where we belong – even if it appears as though it’s going to take longer than the start of this suggested it might.
