Jurgen Klopp has been clocking up the miles more than most of our squad in recent days and he’s certainly created some headlines as he’s gone about it.
After being in La Manga with the squad for a warm-weather training camp he’s been to Denmark since as the Reds celebrate 25 years of a partnership with Carlsberg.
And, whilst the boss was out there, he’s provided some very intriguing sound bites for people to chew over.
Indeed, one such morsel came via an interview with Danish outlet Ekstrabladet in which he revealed his admiration for Danish starlet Kasper Dolberg.
The young forward has been in good form for Ajax this season with many impressed by his displays on the way to him scoring 10 goals in 22 games so far.
And, when asked if he knew of him, Klopp replied in emphatic style saying:
“Who doesn’t know Kasper Dolberg?!
“Kasper Dolberg has a very great future. He is a fantastic player.”
Could a move be on the cards? We shall see.
