February’s a funny old month when it comes to transfer rumours and, as you might have clocked from going through some of our pieces, old stories certainly seem to come up again.
That’s the way the transfer rumour mill appears to work, then, and as we scratch about looking for a line that might lead somewhere, we do sometimes stumble across something worth pursuing.
This latest story, thankfully, appears to be just as such with The Liverpool Echo suggesting that the deal for Christian Pulisic could be back on.
They’ve referred to the fact the Borussia Dortmund’s Hans-Joachim Watzke has said that his club are keen on letting some of their attacking stars go due to the sheer amount that they have available.
The CEO said “something could happen” this summer involving outgoings, too, and so the Reds might still have a chance of getting the young American in.
Time, of course, will tell.
