However, things might not be that straightforward after all with ClubCall claiming that City aren’t going to be willing to sell their stopper to us at any point in the near future.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via The Express) recently claimed we held secret talks with the stopper but it looks like that could be all to no avail now.
Time will tell, then, but it could be that the Reds sign someone else instead to go between the sticks next season now.
