The transfer talk just keeps on coming regardless of what month it is and February seems to be no different for Liverpool at the moment.
It probably makes sense, too, after much of the fall-out from the window concerning the Reds suggesting that they needed to spend to avoid this rut the team are now in.
Plenty of names are getting thrown into the mix with Joe Hart, according to Micky Quinn, one of those of interest.
The former striker told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on Talksport (via The Express🙂
“Mignolet could be on his way. In could be coming Joe Hart and like I said there’s a lot of money to go on five to six high profile players. Read into that what you want.
“They’re going to be very positive in the summer. Klopp knows what he needs as well.”
We’re not sure how accurate Quinn is going to end up being in his predictions of our summer movements but he certainly seems to be expecting money to be getting spent.
We hope he is right, though, as our squad definitely needs investment if we are to kick on from where we are at the moment in terms of league position.
