It may be February 1st and not even 24 hours have passed since the transfer window shut but attention is already starting to turn to this summer’s market.
Indeed, it could be a busy one for the Reds with them not signing anyone in the last month – particularly if we finish in the Champions League spots this season.
Ending in the top four this year would surely still mark this season as a success – even without silverware – and so that needs to be the target now.
If we can do that we’ll surely have a better foundation on which to build from and offer for players with The Liverpool Echo reckoning three stars in particular could be linked heavily with a move.
They’ve been looking at potential transfer rumours that are set to be strong ahead of 2017/18 and on their in-coming list are the exciting young trio of Mahmoud Dahoud, Christian Pulisic and Julian Brandt.
Those three would surely be good signings, and we’re looking forward to seeing if they happen.
