Whilst the transfer rumour mill seemingly never stops involving the Reds, there’s also plenty of comment about who may be leaving the club in the summer.

Certainly, after the past few months we’ve began to get a pretty decent idea about who could be at the club under Jurgen Klopp for time to come and who seems to have had their days numbered.

Having a small squad has meant that the fringe players have had more of a chance than they might have but, according to Phil Thompson on Sky Sports, that still hasn’t been enough for some to prove themselves.

The legendary former Reds defender has tipped both Alberto Moreno and Daniel Sturridge to leave the club in the summer, with the pair failing to nail a place down in Klopp’s side for one reason or another.

On the Spaniard, Thommo said:

“He will leave for sure. If James Milner, a ring-winger, is keeping you out of left-back then it says to me his time is up.”

Whilst on Sturridge he mused:

“I think he’ll want to go to get first-team football and Klopp would let him to bring in somebody more fitting to his style.”
