The footballing world was pretty shocked last night as Claudio Ranieri was shown the door from our Monday night football opponents, Leicester City.
Despite winning them the Premier League only last season the Italian was given his marching orders with the side very close to the relegation zone and so now we’ll see what impact that has.
Hopefully, they won’t improve in time for our game the other side of this weekend whilst, off the pitch, Sky Bet has us as the favourites to profit from the sacking in signing Demarai Gray.
We’re 5/1 to sign the young winger in the summer with the former Birmingham City man arguably the club’s most impressive player this season.
That might not be saying much but he has shown flashes of what he can do though we reckon a bit more is needed before we’re confident that making a bid would be worthwhile.
