According to Buzzsport in France, Liverpool are looking at St. Etienne goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier ahead of the summer window.
This, of course, is not the first time this season we’ve been linked with a new goalkeeper and we daresay it’s not going to be the last either.
We understand why, too, with the way things have gone for us this season between the sticks even if Simon Mignolet has been decent recently.
Indeed, he has still got a clanger in him and so we would not be surprised to see a new stopper come in – be that Ruffier or someone else.
And, according to the report, Jurgen Klopp is only getting more interested in him so perhaps this story will only grow in prominence between now and the summer.
Time will tell, of course, as we head into the business season of the year.
