As if being a professional footballer for Liverpool wasn’t enough, the Reds are off on another warm-weather training camp at the moment with them currently in Tenerife.
This is, of course, the second time that Jurgen Klopp and his squad have jetted off with them going to La Manga earlier on this year.
It didn’t seem to work initially, though, as the game on our return saw us lose 3-1 to Leicester City.
We can only hope, then, that things work out better this time around and it seems to be working at least for skipper Jordan Henderson.
The midfielder has been out for a few games with a foot injury but Klopp has revealed he is making good progress in his recovery from that.
Quoted by the club’s official website he said:
“He can make the next steps here, and then hopefully we can do the next steps when we are home next week. We will see.”
It’s still unsure whether he will be fit for Everton but hopefully he’ll be back soon regardless.
