Speaking to Talksport and as quoted by The Daily Star, Ray Parlour has backed Liverpool and Joe Hart to reach an agreement in the summer over a transfer.

The England no.1 has been on loan at Torino this season after Pep Guardiola brought in Claudio Bravo to replace him.

He’s set to return to the Premier League at the end of this season, though, and where he ends up once that happens has been the subject of much debate for most of the campaign.

Indeed, many think that he’d be well-suited at Liverpool given the fact that there are still question marks over Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius, and Parlour seems to be in agreement with that appraisal.

He said:

“I can see him definitely coming back to England, but maybe not right at the top level – not to Chelsea, Manchester United or Tottenham.

“Liverpool would be a good fit for him, but other than that you’re looking at a mid-table side.”

Time will tell if Hart does sign with it a story that has persisted for some time this year.

We’d like him, but it remains to be seen if Jurgen Klopp would.
