According to The Daily Mail, Liverpool are stepping up their interest in Michael Keane after his strong performance earlier this week for England against Germany.
We’ve seen this story gather pace over the past few days and we were certainly expecting something to come out of the friendly in Dortmund if he performed well.
Well he duly did, too, and despite the Three Lions losing he didn’t look out of place on his first apperance for his country.
The performance came as the latest highlight in a season of bright points thanks to his hugely composed displays at the back for Burnley.
Jurgen Klopp is thought to have followed Keane for some time this season, too, and it appears that this latest showing comes as the Reds prepare to make him a key target in the summer.
