Liverpool’s supposed chase of Inter Milan’s Gabriel Barbosa has apparently been given a boost with the player’s agent making encouraging noises over a potential move.
The Reds and the man dubbed ‘Gabigol’ have been linked together before of course with rumours particularly rife in January after the player failed to settle in at Inter Milan.
And, as we gradually get towards the end of the season, it appears that the rumour is going to come back to the surface.
Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb and as quoted by The Metro, Barbosa’s agent Wagner Ribeiro said:
“Could he leave in June? I don’t know, the future is in God’s hands, not mine.”
Certainly, then, there is potential for this one to happen though is also great scope for it to not as is usually the case with these scenarios.
It looks like we’ll have to bide our time with this one, then.
