Cutting their outlet routes
We all know Burnley are going to sit in at Anfield and make it tough for us to break them down – that’s exactly what most sides have done when they visit us.
What we need to do, then, is when they look to counter make sure that where they can get the ball out to is cut off straight away. They have the pace to harm us on the break but if the likes of Jordan Henderson can snuff that out and turn the ball over quickly the added pressure should eventually tell.
