Far from the finished article
Some 20-year-olds just have it – they are already the finished article.
Indeed, like Dele Alli, some are just ready to go and look as though they surely can’t get better – even though they can. Barella, however, has plenty to improve on from his timing of the challenge to his composure in front of goal. That’s not to say he can’t be class player, of course, but he would need some strong coaching.
