Rumours have re-surfaced – as they often do at this time of year – about a player we haven’t heard much about for a while recently.
It’s that point in the year where we’re caught between two transfer windows where what could have been in January is now not of interest and what will happen in the summer is fanciful speculation more than fact.
Even so, it certainly gets churned out at a fair rate of knots regardless and so we’ll have to just plough through it the best we can.
Some rumours, of course, deserve more entertaining than others and the one concerning Max Meyer is one of those.
The talented German would undoubtedly be a top player for us and – after telling ZDF (via The Mirror) – he could be off in the summer, we could be in the frame.
So, with that in mind, let’s take a look at what changes might happen with him in the side…
