We’re expecting a lot of changes at Liverpool over the coming months as we aim to progress as a club.
The Reds have had a good season so far, of course, but there is a real sense of what might have been in terms of a title challenge.
Indeed, we certainly looked good for one up until a point and what we surely need to do now is learn from our blip that cost us in the race and make sure we bolster the squad.
For sure, we need to add quality first-team options – not just squad players – and that can be said for pretty much every position on the field.
Time to have a look at a potential new midfield for next season, then – based on recent rumours – whilst Gini Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana will also be in contention for the side.
And the fact that they may not start every week surely highlights the fact that we’d have much better squad depth.
