The Reds returned to Premier League action at Anfield on Saturday evening as we hosted Champions League rivals Arsenal under the lights.
And, as has been the way with the Reds this season, we took all three points against one of the biggest sides in the league in what was a fine display.
Indeed, we were soon up and running in this one as Roberto Firmino fired home with the Gunners looking flustered by our incessant pressing in midfield.
2-0 soon came via Sadio Mane and despite a rally from the Gunners after half-time – culminating in a Danny Welbeck goal – we held on before clinching victory through Georginio Wijnaldum.
We’re going to do our best to ignore the fact that questions have once again been asked over why we can’t beat the smaller sides and instead, focus on our ratings from another superb win.
