The Reds rounded off the weekend’s Premier League action yesterday afternoon as we headed to the Etihad to face Manchester City.
And it was certainly a game worth waiting for as both sides took it upon themselves to go for the victory from the off.
Naturally, then, an end-to-end match ensued as both sets of players created chance after chance but it wasn’t until the second half we saw goals.
James Milner converted from the spot to make it 1-0 before Sergio Aguero swept home for 1-1. There could have been many more goals, too, especially had Adam Lallana brought his shooting boots, but a draw was how it ended.
