According to French outlet RMC, Liverpool remain interested in Alexandre Lacazette ahead of a potential move in the summer window.
This, of course, is a familiar enough rumour involving the Reds but it did seem as though, at one point, that we were not going to hear any more about it.
Instead, though, the French international is once again getting linked with us and if we can get in the Champions League next season we think there is no reason why we shouldn’t go for him.
Indeed, he’s only one of three players to have hit over 20 goals in the top European leagues for the past three seasons and is entering his prime.
That, combined with the fact we need another top class striker, suggests this would be a successful move and certainly one that would get the rest of the league to sit up and take notice.
