According to The Telegraph, Liverpool are quite far down the pecking order in the chase for Burnley defender Michael Keane.
The young England man has had quite the breakthrough season this year with the Clarets performing pretty well in the top flight.
It could mean, then, that he is on his way come the end of this season and the opening of the transfer window with the likes of Spurs, Man United, Everton and us all reportedly interested on him.
It seems, though, that it’s the men from White Hart Lane who are leading the race at the moment for the young defender with him apparently favouring a move there.
Liverpool, then, might be better off focusing sights on a different defender and we’d personally like someone like Virgil van Dijk to come in and sort things out at the back for good.
