The Reds need a lot of work done in the summer window, of that there can be no doubt, and one area we feel needs improving has to be in the striker role.
Indeed, whilst defence and goalkeeper are also areas that could see players come in during the summer window we surely need some more potency up top.
Roberto Firmino, of course, has been a decent option up front but you can just tell he’s not an out and out forward whilst Daniel Sturridge really does look as though he’ll be off when the window opens up.
Divock Origi, meanwhile, shows promise but also really does frustrate and if we go into next season with him as our main striker we’re in trouble.
Time, then, to look at two marquee names to take over from him…
