The Reds were back in action on Easter Sunday as we headed to The Hawthorns for a game against West Brom.
Going into the game the Reds knew that they could put two of the sides going for the top four under pressure with both Manchester United and Arsenal still to play.
And, after Everton and Manchester City both won on Saturday, it really was vital that the Reds wrapped up a crucial three points at a typically tough venue.
Crucially, then, that is exactly what we did as the Redmen showed they can grind out results in a poor game – something that was hugely encouraging ahead of the future.
