As quoted by The Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp has revealed the latest on Jordan Henderson’s injury.
The skipper has been out of action since February with a foot issue and it now looks like we’ll have to do without him until the end of the season.
Indeed, he has been a miss with him being the main man when it comes to controlling and passing the ball in the middle of the pitch and so the sooner he comes back the better.
He should, at least, be ready for next season, though, as Klopp said:
“Next season is the latest moment of course but anything can happen. We stay positive because he is strong.
“The moment someone gives him the green light he will be back in a second because of his attitude and character. I am not thinking about the start of pre-season but that would be the latest moment he is back.”
Perhaps not too long left to wait to see the skipper back, then, and we’re certainly looking forward to seeing him back in training.
