As quoted by ESPN Brazil, Philippe Coutinho has spoken about the interest Barcelona are supposedly meant to have in signing him this summer.
This, of course, is a story that we have seen for some time whilst the Brazilian has been at the club and this looks to be the latest set of comments he has had over the situation.
The Reds, then, will obviously be worried about what happens if he does decide that he wants to leave for the Nou Camp in the summer but in the meantime all he has said is that he’s happy to know a side like Barca is interested.
He said:
“I’m happy to know that a great club has an interest, it’s cool, for the recognition of their work, what I have to do is keep working hard.”
Time to not worry just yet, then, but it seems he is aware of Barcelona and doesn’t seem too averse to such a move.
Time, then, will only tell with this one.
