As quoted by the club’s official website, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that the club is going to try and get players in during the summer – much to the delight of all fans for sure.
Indeed, it’s been certainly proved that the squad is not big enough to truly challenge on all fronts and with some form of European football on the way next season, there cannot be any doubt that the club is going to need new signings.
Fortunately, then, Klopp is all too aware of this need and said as much when asked whether he’d be looking to bring in some recruits. He said:
“That’s the job to do, we need more players of course, because we are in Europe for sure, and so we need more players, 100 per cent. We need a wider squad, and that’s what we will have.”
Exciting stuff, then, but it remains to be seen who comes in with this summer window likely to be another one full of transfers and competition for signatures.
