As quoted by The Liverpool Echo, Gremio president Romildo Bolzan has said that there is no concrete interest in his player Luan, despite the suggestion that the Reds were in for him at £26 million.
The forward has been linked with the Reds before, of course, and does look a talent – though it’s always hard to assess how well players from Brazil are going to adapt straight away in Europe.
Even so, it doesn’t appear as though we’re going to have to worry about him right now with Bolzan playing down any suggestion of him moving on.
He said:
“Luan is a player who said he would have proposals but so far none have come, except for one about three years ago when he was on a different level.”
That, then, appears to be where the ground lies at the moment and it seems as though the Reds, if they do want him, are still yet to make an offer.
