We’ve been waiting to hear the latest on Philippe Coutinho and after it seemed as though he wasn’t too unfit, it now looks as though he’ll be ready for the game against Southampton this weekend.
We were all worried, naturally, when the Brazilian hobbled off against Watford but it was revealed yesterday that he had only suffered a dead leg – meaning he may only miss this weekend.
Now, though, it appears that even that isn’t something to worry about now with The Metro claiming he will be fit for the game against Southampton.
Good news, then, as we aim to finish in the top four with things currently in our hands.
It’s easier said than done with that, though, and so having the tricky no.10 fit will surely be even more important as that particular battle intensifies.
